Great hat
The leather is good quality, although the elastic band on the inside leaves stich marks on my forhead when I take it off. Like the hat...should be cheaper though because I don't feel like it is 100% high quality. -

School board caps levy revenues
Kanawha County school board members voted 4-0 to place a flat, five-year cap on revenues it will draw from the excess levy, which it will ask voters to renew in the May primary election.
Board members voted during a special session Tuesday to cap the revenues it will draw from the levy at about $44.2 million - the level they will reach in 2013-14 under the current levy.
The action reflected a personal quest for Board President Pete Thaw, who pushed for the first excess levy cap after he was elected to his initial term in 1998.
In the past caps have fluctuated over the five-year terms of the excess levy. This would be the first levy to remain flat for all five years.
"If the voters don't like it, they can kill it, which is fine," he said. "We're just going to give them a shot by knowing their taxes won't go up every year because of us."
As Kanawha County experiences natural growth in property valuations, the cap forces the board to decrease tax rates for property owners so the school system doesn't collect revenue in excess of the level it agreed on and pitched to voters.
