Make Cake Pops
Make and bake any flavor cake mix according to the package directions. When cake is cool, crumble it into fine crumbs. Add about one-half cup of frosting that is homemade or from a can. Mix well and then form into small balls.
Freeze the balls for about 10 minutes, so they are firm. Do not freeze them too long or the coating will crack during the dipping process. Melt chocolate, almond bark or other candy coating. Place a sucker stick in each cake pop and dip into the coating. Gently tap the cake pop to remove excess coating. Don’t tap it too hard or the cake ball will fall off. If desired, sprinkle with decorations. Then poke the stick into a piece of plastic foam to keep it upright while the coating hardens.
